Holistic Pain (1.0 Contact hour for case managers, nurses and social workers)
Course Description: This course offers a comprehensive understanding of managing pain using a holistic approach. The core focus of the course is on holistic hacks to manage pain by leveraging the nervous system and exploring holistic techniques. Participants engage in practical, guided exercises to experientially grasp the mind-body connection in pain management. By the course’s conclusion, participants will be equipped with a toolkit of holistic techniques to effectively manage pain and enhance overall well-being.
Presenter Kim Foster, BSN, RN, HWNC-BC, HMCP; After almost two decades as a registered nurse, with certifications in holistic nursing, integrative nurse coaching, and several holistic modalities, Kim is a health and wellness expert. Having worked as holistic faculty for a major health organization for over five years, an experienced public speaker, and a love for blending traditional and non-traditional methods for health and wellness, Kim has a passion for educating the public on how to live a healthy, balanced life with a specific focus on stress reduction and mild anxiety management.
