Course Description: This program will offer nurses and social workers the opportunity to learn the current laws affecting the elderly and will give them the legal tools and strategies they will need in the field of geriatrics in order to assist clients and patients.
Learning Objectives: Nurses and social workers will be able to understand the legal strategies and tools needed to assist their elderly patients and clients. He or she will be able to identify the needs of each client or patient and be able to direct them to the appropriate resources.
